This is the plane/cloud design I made for the first issue of In Flight mag. At first, I was going to make the plane from scratch, but it didn't look good at all, so I scrapped that. When I started working with actual pictures, I initially modified the front of the plane to have a serif on it, but it looked very bizarre, so I replaced it with a cloud behind the plane. The text was somewhat easy to make, thanks to a cloud in one of our pictures that looked like an S. The S, U, and E were all made from the same cloud.

9/11
It feels odd that it's been 10 years since 9/11. I don't recall experiencing the event when it happened, but I difinitely remember the aftermath, and the fact that from then on we included a moment of silence after the pledges in school.
And conspiracy theorists bug me. Their "arguments" don't actually hold any factual merit.

Summer
The thing I'm going to miss the most about summer is the amount of free time I had. In between school, homework, and school clubs, I now have significantly less free time. On the other hand, SQUOW.

Superstitions
I am not a superstitious person. I make my decision based upon logical reasons, rather than something someone just told me that has no scientific merit. The only awful thing about Friday 13th is Rebecca Black. I am somewhat annoyed by how people will get upset with you if you don't agree with them that they have seen ghosts in person and on TV.
Additionally, militant atheists who try to claim that religion is a form of superstition completely misrepresent religion, the beliefs behind them, they way they are practiced, and the people who practice them. The basic beliefs of religions are completely irrelevant in a discussion of superstitions.

Atascocita HS Lip Dub
With the lip dub finished, I think it will help incoming AHS freshmen look forward to their time in high school. They'll probably feel like school will be more interesting, and that attitude will help make it a reality.

Black and White to Color
Something I've been doing recently in Photoshop: Taking old black and white photographs and making them into color photos.
I made these by taking public domain black and white photos/daguerrotypes and using color from paintings of the same people.
